Proteus Discovery Group Establishes Pro Bono Hosting Partnership through Relativity's Justice for Change

Proteus collaborating with Northwest Justice Project in pro bono project.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, July 18, 2023 / PRweb Proteus Discovery Group, a litigator-led eDiscovery services and consulting provider, today announced its designation as a Hosting Partner with Relativity's Justice for Change program. This partnership enables Proteus to provide hosting, administrative and project management support to grant recipient organizations in their use of RelativityOne.

""We are proud to partner with Relativity and the Northwest Justice Project," said Ryan Short, Vice President of Revenue. "Justice for Change is a fantastic way for the eDiscovery community to contribute time, talent, and treasure in support of vulnerable individuals protecting their civil rights."

Relativity's Justice for Change program focuses on increasing access to justice by providing free use of its cloud-based e-discovery product, RelativityOne, to organizations tackling legal cases and academic and policy research related to racial and social justice. Specifically, Justice for Change has allocated 100TB of RelativityOne data to be used on pro bono projects led by customers or nonprofit organizations. Through the Justice for Change hosting partnership, Proteus is committed to the continuous pursuit of justice through great pro bono work and building important connections with Northwest Justice Project.

Northwest Justice Project will use RelativityOne to support litigation protecting the rights of women and immigrant low-wage workers who face discrimination and harassment in the workplace. This partnership will enable workers who speak up about abuses by large corporations to have the same support and tools as the employers they challenge, ensuring they have a fair opportunity to seek resolution through the legal system.

"The Justice for Change program creates access to justice for low-wage workers facing discrimination," says Northwest Justice Project attorney Alyson Dimmitt Gnam. "In a legal system that often disadvantages those with fewer resources, this program levels the playing field to ensure our clients have the same opportunities to tell their stories in court."

"We are thrilled to welcome Proteus as our latest Justice for Change Hosting Partner as they support the Northwest Justice Project in the fight against workplace discrimination and harassment," said Johnathan Hill, Community Engagement Lead at Relativity. "The work that Proteus and the Northwest Justice Project focus on is critical in improving the treatment of workers, and we are eager to see how these organizations will leverage RelativityOne to ensure that these deserving individuals feel empowered and receive access to justice."

Organizations, including current Relativity customers, doing legal work on behalf of racial justice that would benefit from software to help them organize and search documents, and build out a case narrative can apply for free use of our cloud-based e-discovery product, RelativityOne.
